Atmospheric stories
"Klaus Soppe is a master of pictorial storytelling. Not only his figurative compositions, but also atmospheric landscapes and staged still lifes contain exciting stories. His trademark are shimmering, luminous paintings, worked out with the greatest care and sometimes mysterious. Only in the distance do fine lines become more dense clearly limited color reduced to a few tones to create three-dimensional spaces and motifs."
